Why did we do this costume:

             This was a fill in costume I always wanted to do since I saw the concept art for Captain America Civil War. Wanted something quick and inexpensive   

 Build progress:

 ​            I handmade the hood which took my sewing ability above and beyond. This was my first time using a double needle and wetsuit material. It closed in the back with a zipper. Simple

           I made a shirt with a higher collar out of the same material as the mask. to get it a bit form fitting for the neck I made it tighter and used a zipper closure. I also tried to match the pleats but only in the front that can be seen.

          The jacket was hand made from a Halloween costume pattern. The collar is faux fur with streaks of pink and black. The shoulder armor is made from foam which I painted and glued onto the jacket.

          Pants are off-the-shelf twill pants I got at Wal-Mart. the bottom were purchased off Ebay real cheap

           The military style webbing is all hand had with parts custom built. I built a sword frog for a practice plastic sword. the holster cam with my spring action Mouser.

           I you have seen this costume up close you would notice my buttons have handmade Hydra emblems on them

 ​ After thoughts:

               I would not take anything away or change it as it is as close to the art as you can get. Pat myself on the back, good job Jerry, good job
