Why did we do this costume:

After reading SM Noir #1 I became a fan of the costume and character. I wanted to make a quick and simple costume for my budget build and figured this was a jumping off point.

Build progress:

I started out with the mask and goggles. The hood was made from stretchy vinyl used for poker table cushions. I cut and sewn the slits my self with a thicker cording. The nose and mouth had a spandex material for easy breathing. I purchased the welding goggles off ebay which came the closest to what I was looking for.

The sweater took a little time to find but got my hands on a close match. Unfortunately, the sweater had a fleecy material, so it made the costume extremely warm to wear.

I ordered a cheap vinyl imitation leather jacket from overseas (by the way I wear a US Man Large - China Men's XXL is equivalent). The jacket took a little work but not too much. I had to add a flap across the chest and buttons. I then removed the arms and resewn the arms holes seams.

I discovered thinner stripped pants on ebay from a formal wear company. Once again they were similar and I could have produced my own but this was my budget build.

Lastly, the gloves are just standard form fitting leather gloves and the boots I had on hand

 After thoughts:

I can sincerely assert I have no second opinions regarding this ensemble. I wanted to make a budget costume but still retaining to my skill. I think I succeeded with the finished work. I am extremely pleased with this project
