Batman Begin
I made this Batman Scarecrow costume for an annual costume dinner party a few of my friends slap together every year. The costume concept can from Batman Begins and was fairly in-depth and lengthy process. Not much along the lines of samples out there so I took some liberties. I utilized a foam wig head to make 90% of the mask accurate to be worn. I tried to make this mask as screen accurate as possible so a lot of pictures from the movie and fan art. Found a blue suit and tie at the Salvation Army I believe for $4.00, sold. The mask was itchy due to being made from actual burlap. If I was to do it again I would put a cotton fabric liner inside for the ease of wear. I have to say this was fun to do and helped with my technique. During the movie he sprays a mist of fear toxin from his sleeve. I rigged a system of compress air canister with a thin hose connected to a gutted sharpie. Inside the Sharpie was baby powder and  a pull of the trigger in my jacket pocket a cloud of powder shots out.​​​
