Why did we do this costume:

              Cody and I always enjoy doing costumes together. Well this one coming up is no different. The ying to my yang, I did Freddy Kruger so he wanted Chucky

Build progress:

              Let’s start at the bottom and work on up. For shoes Cody wore red converse. The overalls I had a hard time with trying to find blue corduroy in his size . Well I could not find them so I made them. I made them out of white corduroy and dyed them blue then applied random kiddy sports images. Each image was cut and glued but hand which took a few days. I them had trouble finding the shirt. Well I made it out of white knit fabric and carefully masked and airbrushed the colors then sewn it all up. The wig I had to buy, hooray for small things. I made a face putty for the facial cuts. If you look closely those are real staples in the putty. The knife blade was made from EVA foam and was carful for the general shape but not for smoothness. There is a gouge here and there which gave it character. A little silver paint then onto the base. I used a solo cup to hide his hand which had the same cuff material at the end. To make it more authentic, the whole base was wrapped in brown packaging tape. The knife blade had a wooden stick in the bottom which then was pushed through the cup to hold the whole thing in place.

After thoughts:

 I might go as far as doing a Due Sub pattern for the sweater and maybe taking more time with searching the coveralls. Possibly finding blue material. I am actually very happy with the results. What a great addition to the horror line
