Why did we do this costume:

                Not necessarily a planned costume. Cody and I were a Rhode Island Comic Con taking in the sights and not dress out in costumes. ...There was a man walking around looking like Roland from the Dark Tower movie. So being a fan of the books I asked if I can get a pic. He said yes and handed a pistol to Cody and I was like YES

Build progress:

               This I what I picture Jake Chambers from the books (minus the glasses). So here we are a closet cosplay, open up the drawers or closet and utilize what you got. Just needed a kid from our time period with a brown shoulder bag learning to be a mystical gunslinger from another land.

After thoughts:

                 I need to specify I don’t condone the use of a pistol in a youths hands. A few more years maybe. I suppose we will take this as a official cosplay of JCP
